“Implementation of a modern, robotic post-press processing center as an opportunity to enhance the company’s competitiveness”
The scope of the project (i.e., activities planned within the project) aligns with the recommended implementation measures indicated in the roadmap and includes comprehensive actions aimed at automation or robotization, leading to a transformation of the enterprise toward Industry 4.0. The project involves the acquisition and deployment of a robotic, automated post-press line for label processing.
Planned project execution:
1. Investment activities:
– Purchase and installation of a modern, advanced post-press processing center. The company plans to acquire a new center capable of accurate and precise product manufacturing, supporting four processes currently handled by five operators.
– Purchase and implementation of an MES-class system.
2. Accompanying activities:
a. Infrastructure works:
– site preparation for equipment installation – setup of electrical power supply infrastructure.
b. Staff training: Employees will be trained to operate and supervise the new equipment. IT staff will receive training in operating the software solutions delivered with the equipment.
The project targets micro, small, and medium enterprises operating or intending to operate within the macro-region, innovation hubs, and energy companies.
It concerns investment in tangible fixed assets or intangible assets related to increasing the production capacity of an existing plant. This involves upgrading plant infrastructure to boost output and improve efficiency. Investments include purchasing new machinery and equipment, modernizing production lines, introducing new technologies and IT systems, expanding production or warehouse facilities, and employee training.
The aim is to enhance competitiveness by increasing production capacity, improving product quality, and boosting work efficiency. With these upgrades, the company will improve productivity, reduce production costs, and raise the quality of its output.
Benefits of implementation for the Applicant’s enterprise:
– increased productivity;
– improved efficiency through process automation;
– enhanced product quality via automated processes;
– greater competitiveness in the market
– expanded growth opportunities
– reduced operational costs
The installation of the planned cutting center will significantly increase production capabilities, improve quality parameters, and boost flexibility. Its versatility will allow quick tool changeovers and integration with semi-finished goods supply.
By implementing the new cutting center, the company will revolutionize its production. Key benefits include:
1. Faster production: The new cutting center is much more efficient, significantly reducing production time, enabling faster delivery.
2. Lower costs: Process optimization will reduce production costs, helping maintain competitive pricing and attracting new customers.
3. Greater precision and quality: Modernized production will ensure better accuracy, eliminating errors and inconsistencies, and meeting the highest quality standards.
4. Customization: Automation allows tailored production to meet individual customer needs.
5. Compliance with standards: The upgraded products meet all relevant norms and standards, which is crucial for the food industry (labels for food products).
