
Drukarnia Opegiek Sp. z o.o. has received European Union funding for the project titled: “Digitization of Drukarnia OPEGIEK through Automation of Business Processes.”
The aim of the project is to digitize Drukarnia Opegiek Sp. z o.o. by automating processes across production, quality management, order processing, material management, logistics, and warehousing, while also enhancing cybersecurity. This initiative supports full integration of enterprise resource planning (ERP) across material, financial, production, and human resources through new software modules and system integration.
With the implementation of a company-wide production system, all stages—from order intake to label delivery—will be seamlessly connected.
Project Scope Includes Two Investment Areas:
1) Acquisition of Intangible Assets, including:
– Production Management Software – Production License
– Warehouse barcode scanning module – Scanner License
– ERP system implementation and integration
– Website upgrades to support English and German interfaces and meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA digital accessibility standards
2) Acquisition of Tangible Assets, including:
– Thermal transfer printers – for printing tags on both unit and bulk packaging (boxes and pallets)
– POS terminals – for production staff to input data from current production orders and generate reports
– Data collectors (scanners) – for warehouse and shipping staff to track inventory through item scanning
– Server – to streamline data backup and enhance cybersecurity
– Workstations – to support operation of integrated enterprise management (ERP) software
The project’s target group includes the company’s employees, partners, and clients. Its implementation will address current operational needs of Drukarnia Opegiek Sp. z o.o. and respond to employee and customer expectations, serving as inspiration and guidance for future investments.
Full ERP integration will simplify the entire order process—from production entry to shipment and invoicing—improving workflow, reducing lead times, and minimizing human error.
Additionally, the digital communication upgrade, compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, will ensure that the company’s offer and ordering system are accessible to people with limited digital access—supporting universal design principles.
The implementation of the investment will contribute to meeting the Company’s business expectations in the context of digitalization technologies—particularly in communication and enterprise management.
